Shawn has two whole week off from work. I'm really excited and I hope we can actually enjoy his vacation together this year instead of being sick for a month like last year. I made it my mission to remain positive and think only happy thoughts. Since he's been home, we've been spending time together inside. I've been having fun taking photos.


I already changed Plum's outfit from the earmuffs. I wasn't planning to change it so quickly, but Mom bought some new clothes for Plum for the holidays and I wanted to make sure I get all these clothes in during the winter! Plus, her cute animal hats are more suiting. ^__~

Moonmallow has been coming with Plum and me around the apartment. I think she's the plushie version of Plum, haha. Shawn seems to treat her that way at least. She's really fun to take photos of in different scenes with props, which is something I don't do a lot with plushies. In the photo above, Moonmallow is holding one of my ornaments from my dessert xmas tree. ^u^

Shawn and I have a busy week ahead of us. We have a bunch of present shopping to do tomorrow (which I had thought I was done with, but I kept remembering more people). Mom is also dropping off my birthday present (a beautiful new cubby shelving unit for my hobby room!), and Shawn is getting a haircut. Then we're going to Illinois for my family's get together on Christmas Eve. We'll be at Shawn's family's house for another get together on Christmas Day. My birthday is this next Sunday... and Shawn's birthday is just a few days later! Jeez, it's gonna be busy. O_O

We finally got our first big snow of the season earlier this week. Most people I know who live in Wisconsin have grown to hate the snow because they have to drive in it. I don't know if it's because I don't drive myself, but I absolutely love the snow. I look forward to it every year. And so does Plum!


Each morning I woke up to snow, I'd get up, open the blinds, and was instantly immersed in this amazing scene of snow. It was everywhere and it was still falling.

I changed Plum's outfit to some of her latest winter clothes-- stock Blythe earmuffs and a vest, her newest candy dress, her little purse/basket, and her pretty lolita boots. I took her outside for a few minutes (for as long as I could stand the bitter cold) for some photos. Because the snow was so bright, and the sun would peak out from behind the clouds every few minutes, I found it extremely difficult to capture any of the details on the trees in the background. I don't mind though-- a pretty picture was still painted with Plum in the snow. ^__^

Ughhh, I can't get enough of Plum in this outfit. I think she should stay in it forever. Haha. But yeah, as promised, here is a little "taste" of Plum and her donuts.


I'd really love to get more Re-ment sets with the donuts. If I would have paid attention at BlytheCon, I would have noticed that every box was marked with which set was inside! And then I would have probably grabbed a few more of the donut sets. >.< Oh well.

I wanted to take more photos of Plum in her current outfit. Whenever I wake up in the morning, I can't help but smile whenever I see Plum. She just looks so happy and carefree. I think this outfit defines her.


I took more photos of her-- they show her holding some delicious looking donuts that I got in a Re-ment set when I was at BlytheCon. >w< I'm really tired right now so I'll load the rest of these photos tomorrow or sometime soon.

It was so, so, so pretty outside today. The sun was finally out (no rain, finally!) and it was almost warm. Shawn and I ventured to the park down the street and I took some photos of Plum and Jinkies there. I've been wanting to take photos at the park for so long now. I'm glad I had the opportunity to do it before the winter snow hit.




I still have a lot of photo ideas for the park I'd like to tackle, but I think I'll have to wait for another sunny day. I'd like to go a little later in the afternoon when the sun is setting. I love working with natural light, but sometimes too much sun can be just as bad (if not worse) than not enough sun. Oh well, it was still fun today!

A lot of Blythe people are doing their dolls' favorite fifteen items. I decided to do a photo for Plum! She has so many favorite things... It was difficult to fit even just fifteen of them into one shot. o_O


And actually, all the items in this photo are Plum's favorite clothes and accessories, not just the fifteen that are tagged on Flickr. I cheated a little! But I only tagged fifteen of the items, haha. ^____^

I can't wait to take more photos of Plum in the outfit she's wearing right now. She's totally dressed for autumn and winter. I dressed her and Jinkies the other day and they look so cute next to each other. It's been super cloudy and rainy every day this week. I was lucky I got a chance to jump outside for this quick photo today. In fact, I almost didn't get any shots in because the tiny dresses started getting blown away. x_____x Shawn stood outside with me and made sure it all stayed in order, tee hee.

I was browsing Plastic Paradise for the first time in a few days and noticed a "You and your doll" thread. I haven't taken a new photo of Plum and me in a long time so I thought I'd take a more up-to-date one to post in the thread.


It's such a beautiful day outside! I'd like to sit outside but Shawn is playing Halo and I feel like staying with him. I was gone for a day and I can tell he missed me, heh. ^^

I was sad because I found out that my camera remote's battery died when I was trying to take photos. Shawn was sweet and helped me out. I was really happy with how this photo turned out. I think it's my favorite of Plum and me together up to this point.

I can't wait to take some photos of just Plum in the outfit she's wearing in the photo. ^o^ That's the dress that was "lost" in the mail. Gina wrote me back and let me know that the dress was at her studio, so it wasn't lost after all! I'll get more photos of the dress and outfit detail tomorrow, probably. Oh gosh, I just love this outfit on Plum.

When I was outside yesterday, I thought it would be fun if Plum came out with me. I put on her little swimsuit and one of her many pairs of sunglasses, and she was ready to go!




I never really liked putting swimsuits on Blythes before, but now I think it's pretty fun. I'd like to get a few more pairs of suits sometime. After wearing a few outfits on the more elaborate side for the last few months, Plum needed to step back into something more simplistic and easygoing. ^____^

I'm a really laid back kind of person. I wouldn't say that it takes a lot to make me happy. Just give me a Blythe, a kitty, a book, and a Shawn (tee hee)... and I'm perfectly smitten. Sitting at home on a weekend night, curled up on my comfy bed with all these bits and pieces of happiness, is what I call perfection.


Like tonight, for instance... Shawn went out with Kyle, Korry, and Jeremy to eat and I feel so good just sitting in my new home with Isis and Ed wandering all around me. Fru just woke up and is looking for some attention. (Poor thing-- I forgot to clean her cage today! I have to do that tomorrow.) Plum is at my side while I browse the usual sites: the TIB and PP forums, Flickr, etc.

For the last couple hours, I've been looking at tons of photos of Kozys and reading up on people who have gotten Kozys over the years. Jeez, they're all cute, but I can honestly say that no Kozy even comes close to Plum's adorableness. <3 It's amazing how many stories are behind all the people who have been affected by Kozy's cuteness. Just by the way people talk about her, I can tell she's one of the most beloved Blythes of all time. Ah, such love.

I am in Blythe heaven right now. I found the most awesomely adorable dolly items and clothes ever. I've been saving up again, and my bank account is looking very happy, so I got a few small pressies for Plum as a reward. O__O Ohmygod, I'm so excited... I can't stop smiling. Shawn is sharing in the joy as he plays Halo. He gave me his opinion as I picked out the goodies. I think we're both gonna have our jaws drop when we see Plum in a few days.

This next Plumshoot is gonna rock. *dances* I'm on top of the world!
